About Me

Hi, I’m Rosie, I've been working therapeutically with people for over 15 years, supporting them through experiences such as stress, overwhelm, anxiety and depression, relationship challenges, childhood abuse, PTSD and CPTSD, work-related issues, life transitions, and chronic health conditions.
My work is guided by my own healing journey, which you can read more about below, and by a deep belief that true wellbeing arises when we are able to live authentically — fully ourselves — honouring the needs of our mind, our body, and our soul.
My Story:
A Journey From Pain to Peace
My own healing journey has shaped everything I offer today. Having been through childhood trauma, I began experiencing pain symptoms at around 15 years old which eventually led to a diagnosis of fibromyalgia in 2014.
In my late teens, I turned to counselling to help myself heal, and while it was supportive and beneficial, my progress often felt slow. I would often find myself stuck looping through thoughts in my head but not feeling able to 'do' anything to change them. It was as though understanding alone wasn't enough.
Discovering yoga became a significant turning point. It helped me realise that much of what I was experiencing was embodied —not just held in my mind — and that reconnecting to my body was essential for healing. Through yoga and meditation, I learned to be present in the moment and feel more comfortable in myself than ever. I learned to have a loving relationship with myself, which helped me to make much-needed changes in my life to support my wellbeing.
Along the way, I explored many different healing modalities. Whenever something truly helped me, I was drawn to undertake training, both to deepen my own healing and learn how to support others more effectively too.
Over time, I reflected on the support I'd received in counselling, in yoga, and in other therapeutic approaches, wondering whether there was some way to bring them together under one holistic, therapeutic roof. Eventually, I chose step away from structured counselling and began developing my own therapeutic approach, which I now call The Swan Method.
I've believe I have now created the therapy that I needed myself — a deeply intuitive, fully holistic, and compassionate approach to healing that prioritises nervous system support, helping to avoid the overwhelm and trauma triggering that other therapies can sometimes unintentionally create.

Bridging Body & Mind
True healing is never about addressing one issue in isolation. The mind, body, and emotions are deeply interconnected, and imbalances in one area are often felt in others. For example, emotional stress can show up as physical tension, while a dysregulated nervous system will hold onto that tension, making emotional healing harder.
